chiropractor - Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) use a drug-free, hands-on approach to treat neuro-musculoskeletal complaints, including back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
orthotist – A Certified Orthotist (CO) is a clinician involved in the evaluation, design, and fabrication of orthoses (plural), which are orthopedic devices that support or correct the function of a limb or the torso. An orthotic, specifically, refers to an insert for shoes designed to correct leg length, fallen arches, or some other foot problem.
pedorthist - Certified Pedorthists (CPeds) modify or fit shoes and orthoses to conform to a doctor's footwear prescription in order to prevent or alleviate foot problems caused by disease, overuse, injury, or congenital defect.
physical therapist - Physical therapists help people get back in motion by improving their flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination and balance. They apply research and extensive clinical experience to examine, diagnose, and then prevent or treat conditions that limit the body’s ability to move and function in daily life.
physiatrist - A physiatrist (fizz ee at' trist) is a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). They treat a wide range of problems from sore shoulders to spinal cord injuries, with a focus on restoring function to people.
podiatrist - Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPMs) are physicians and surgeons who practice on the lower extremities, primarily on feet and ankles.
