I was pretty skeptical about the shoes. I could fill a small room with shoes, insoles, orthotics, sleeves and other contraptions I tried in order to relieve my foot pain. I have had pain to the soles of my feet for some time now, they felt like I had been walking bare foot across a field of medium sized pointed rocks. They felt bruised all the time. I also have neuropathy causing burning to the soles of my feet, of unknown origin since I am not diabetic. Although I later discovered the burning was seemingly caused from L5 in my back. I ordered the Legend d/t the advice of the website for wide feet. The first week I wasn't sure because my feet were so sore already. The insole that came in the shoe didn't have enough arch support for me so I switched it out with some of my own and then there was too much arch. So I found a happy medium with another one under the one that came with the shoe. So now I'm about 4 weeks or so into the shoes and my feet don't hurt! Hallelujah!!! I previously was worrying how I was going to be able to do my job with the pain in my feet. Usually Monday was ok, by Tuesday afternoon my feet were killing me, Wed, Thurs and Fri was almost unbearable. But not anymore! And the BONUS? the burning has stopped and my right hip which has hurt for years has also stopped hurting. So my feet, my back and my hips really like these shoes. Yes, it seemed like alot of money...but hadn't I already spent that much and more on all the other stuff?
