They’re the ones I wear for square dancing. I would only add that I work as a manager and have added the heel covers so you really don’t notice the coils. If someone is hesitant to get z-coil because of the odd looking coil, you can cover it up at a reasonable price.

I love them. I have been diagnosed with Post Polio Syndrome and was having lots of pain in my legs. Since wearing the z-coils the pain is bearable, sometimes very minimal. I wear only z-coil shoes now.

I started with the Mary Jane style and recently purchased the Jubilee sandal and the legend tennis shoe. They all fit well, but I’m a barefoot kind of girl so the sandals are my favorite.

I have worn my BROWN sidewinder sandals for about 8 years with only one heel replacement.
I need now to buy another pair and can’t seem to find it in the color of BROWN. I would NOT wear black sandals in the summer. See what you can do. I am thinking of buying two pair if I can get them in brown.

Hi Sharon, A gal that cut my hair back 7 or 8 years ago had really bad feet. She came to work one morning to find a pair of Z-Coils on her chair. Another customer had brought them to her. After her telling me how wonderful they were for her I immediately tried to find a local store. The 1st time I tried a pair on, I fell in love! I felt like my back was totally inline and could immediately tell the difference in my balance. Since then I have added to my collection, sandals, walking shoes, dress shoes, hiking boots…..I now have 9 pair! All but the hiking shoes were open coils. After buying my 1st pair, I was able to walk for exercise again and lost 90 lbs. But, I was falling fairly often. I really started paying attention to how I was walking and the placement of my feet. Laughing, I realized when I 1st started wearing Z-Coils, my thighs were much bigger and my feet were much further apart. But as I lost weight, my feet were my much closer together and I was tripping myself! Rather funny….except for the falls! So that’s why I recently added the covers over the coils. One other reason is, I were them alllllll the time, and when in the garden or yard, I was getting sticks or other stuff caught in the coils. Now I can wear whichever pair and not have to worry about that.

I love love love my Z-Coils! I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Al at the Albuquerque store a couple of years ago. I told him how much I appreciated him invented these shoes and how much I love every pair I have!
