Product Description

What could be easier to wear than this classic leather clog?  The name Töffler is German meaning “Traditional wooden clog.” We love the name, but broke with tradition regarding the fit, comfort and relief.  Just slip it on in, and you’ll be set to go all day.  Super versatile, it’s equally at home with workwear or jeans.

  1. Genuine full grain leather – is soft and smooth
  2. Soft inside nylon lining – keeps the foot cool and comfortable
  3. Replaceable spring – available in either open or closed version
  4. Forefoot  EVA cushioning – cushions the ball of the foot and toes
  5. Built-in Z-Orthotic® –  protects plantar ligaments
  6. Slip resistant outsole – prevents slipping on slick/wet surfaces
  7. Felt lined removable insole – conforms to the foot shape.
  8. Consider adding a Z-Fit insole if you have a high arch.

I just got my clogs today and I am in heaven!!! I have suffered with plantars fasciitis for over 20 years, and have had 5 different sets of inserts, the band, the rubber heel insert and have had at least 4 cortisone shots just this past year along with prednisone for the inflammation. I have been especially miserable the last 4 weeks. Went to foot doctor, wore the big black boot and used the night time brace and still couldn’t find complete relief. Was ready to call the doctor today and tell him to go ahead and schedule surgery when my pair of Z-Coil clogs came. As soon as I tried them on I couldn’t believe how much better I felt. Been wearing them all day and feel wonderful. I find myself realizing, “Hey, my foot isn’t killing me!” I’m going to order a pair of the tennis shoe style next!!

I purchased the Toffler Clog and wished they didn’t have the backs on them as they keep slipping up and down when I walk because I am a 9.5 size and had to go to the 10 size. .They don’t come backless so I just granted my wish and instead of returning the 3rd shoe back now, I opted to cut the back off and to my delight I am Ecstatic!!! They are WONDERFUl now..I am one Happy Customer because they are wide enough and very comfortable to stand on my feet over 10 hours a day.. Thank YOU Z-Coil now I don’t have to quit my job!! It feels like I have my slippers on with a little spring in my step..how wonderful is that! The sidewinder sandals are the best too!

I have been wearing Z-Coils for over 10 years now.
I am a chef and that comes with long hours on my feet. Bottom line, I couldn’t do my job without these shoes. They allow me to be on my feet for hours on end and with comfort.
Every time someone complains about standing on their feet for hours with pain, I highly recommend that they consider a pair of Z-Coils. I think the price may set them back, but really, mine last me about 2 years each. I would say pretty inexpensive comfort cost.

Don’t wait for extreme pain like I had before you purchase your pair. You will be so happy and your feet will thank you.

I like them a lot I had the Taos clog before and the back was a little lower which made it easier to slip into but other then that I love the Toffler!

I have fibromyalgia and have to wear them with a orthotic but they are very comfortable. They took away my hip, knee, and calve pain! I would avoid walking up steps on my bad days and these have stopped that.

I’m wearing them right now and they are a God send! I’m an ex marathon runner and was facing surgery on my feet and ankles. The shoes helped me avoid this surgery I would give them 8 stars if I could!

The clog works good as well as the replacement heels I got for my other Z-CoiLs.

Before Z-CoiL I was in pain to the point where I was almost unable to walk, since then my pain has come down to where I can walk again, I own 3 pairs and plan on adding more. Best thing I ever did.

I get so many comments on my shoes, and for those that can try them on, they are sold! I have given your website address to over 20 nurses and aides that I work with.

I ordered this style for its versatility with outfits. They are the best thing I have ever put on my feet!!!! They are like walking on air. I have had several back issues due to 6 pregnancies and epiderals. I have a couple of issues such as needing a lift and foot pronation. Z-CoiL has given me pain relief and comfort!!!! I have already another style….they are so worth the price. I work 8-10 hours in retail so these were my last hope for relief and they have definitely come through. Would recommend this shoe and company to anyone with foot, knee or back issues!!!!!!

The Toffler took a bit of getting used to because they’re not as flexible as a pair of sneakers would be but I love the ease of just slipping them on.

This is my 5th pair and my feet feel great all the time and my knees which I have been down in both knees but not at the same time. Wearing my Z-CoiLs again keep my knees from hurting when I am on my feet for extended
    periods of time.

Absolutely perfect shoes. Highly recommended with the closed coil which provides more stability and support than the open coil.

“My feet absolutely do not hurt one bit when I wear the Z Coil shoe. My feet still hurt because I don’t know what is wrong, and I cannot fix it. But I am able to manage the days much better while I wear these shoes. I feel tall and strong when I wear them :-). I am glad I saw the lady wearing them at the airport! She led to the Z Coils.

I’ve only worn them for three ten-hour shifts at work where I am on my feet all day. I thought the first couple of days they were rubbing against my first metatarso-phalangeal joint. Today I didn’t notice it. They may just need breaking in. I do notice that my feet aren’t as tired at the end of the day as when I wore Dansko’s. I also ordered the soft coil covers for aesthetic reasons and find they are useful to prevent tripping. I even wore them outside with my kids to play in the yard on my lunch break. They wipe right off. So far, I’m pleasantly surprised. They don’t look nearly as weird as I thought they would. Nobody has even noticed at work.

The Toffler is our classic clog style shoe. The shoe is built for a normal D width but because it is a clog and was built for a “loose or slip on” fit, the shoe runs one size large. If you are accustomed to wearing clogs this is the shoe for you. If you are not accustomed to wearing clogs please know that it may take some time for you to get used to the “heel slippage” caused by the intentional free float design of the heel.

This shoe runs one size large so order one size smaller than your normal size. For unknown size, measure your foot length on a ruler and use the size chart below to find your size. (Need the modified chart here)

This shoe is ergonomically designed with our standard great fit features:

-a built in orthotic with a standard arch,
-a wider than normal toebox width for better fit in the toe area
-a rocker bottom for easy mobility
-conical spring in the heel for 50% impact reduction to the body
