Plantar Fasciitis

I own seven pair because they work! A godsend for my plantar fasciitis and now neuroma.

My Z-CoiL shoes get more comments than my kilts.

I first saw an article about Z-CoiL shoes in August of 2003. I thought they looked like a good idea, but I was still skeptical.

I am a nurse and work 12-hour shifts. I have had plantar fasciitis for about seven years, and have tried all the different shoes -- Birkenstocks, Dansko, Merrill, Nike -- nothing made any difference. Well, five weeks ago in Tucson, Arizona, I decided to buy a pair of Z-CoiL footwear, as they were the only shoes I had never tried.

After three weeks all my foot pain is gone, and I can now work more than two days in a row. As a matter of fact, I have worked eight days now without difficulty.

People think they look weird, but cool, and kids really get a kick out of them. The best part, though, is jumping out of bed in the morning and my feet don't hurt at all. I was starting to worry that I might have to give up my ER job and get a sit-down job, but I'm good now. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful shoe. I get tons of questions about them and I tell everyone how great they are and where the nearest shop is.

I found Z-CoiL® shoes three years ago. I was a 35-year-old mother of three with plantar fasciitis. I was in so much pain that I would have to use the electric cart at the store. Since wearing Z-CoiL® shoes, I am virtually pain-free. I am on my third pair; they last forever! I am looking forward to my fourth year of being free of foot pain. Thanksyou changed my life!

I just bought the Z-CoiL Freedom 2000 two days ago, and I am so impressed!! I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for about a year, thinking that surgery or cortisone shots were my only hope, and I am very pleased to tell you that within the first DAY of wearing Z-CoiL shoes, I had absolutely ZERO pain in my foot!!My husband noticed this morning, too, that I could walk normally right after waking up, which is something I haven't been able to do for over a year, due to very sore feet.

I have been wearing them around with a HUGE smile on my face, and am overly excited to tell anyone who asks (and some who don't) just how amazing these shoes are! Thank you for giving me my life back!! There is no frustration quite like being 29 and suffering from such severe foot pain that you are always grumpy. So thank you not only from myself, but my husband and kids as well!!

I was in Oaxaca, Mexico, over the December holidays for two weeks, walking all over the city and a lot on cobblestones. I developed a severe case of plantar fasciitis as a result. I was in such pain I had to get a wheelchair to get through the Mexico City and San Francisco airports. I just could not walk.

Back in San Francisco, my partner told me about the Z-Connection store up on Irving Street. I was in a lot of pain that Saturday morning, but I went by and looked at the shoes. When I saw them, I knew I wouldn't wear them because they looked so strange. However, once I tried them on and walked in them, I had NO pain! It was amazing. I was sold. I bought the Z-CoiL shoes immediately and have worn no other shoes since then. I am slowly recovering from plantar fasciitis with the help of a podiatrist, an acupuncturist, a physical therapistand my Z-CoiL shoes. They really help my healing process along. Also, they are a lot of fun to wear because my feet never seem to feel tired. Thanks, Z-CoiL Footwear!

The Boston Marathon--every distance runners dream. Well, I finally made it. Yes, I did have to wait for my age to catch up with my abilities. Turned 60, which means I needed a 4-hour time to qualify for Boston. Some might say anyone can go 26.2 miles in 4 hours, but go ahead, give it a try. I had never run four hours in any previous marathon, but I knew it was possible, especially with help of a running friend who became my personal trainer.

Now the bad news. After I ran the St. George marathon in October in 3:55 to qualify for Boston, I had a minor groin injury in December and lost most of the month. Then I had a lot of travel and conflicts in January. Got serious about training in February, and guess what Hurt my foot/heel. At first, the doctor thought it was plantar fasciitis, but then my family doctor thought it was a bruised heel. Either way, the only training it allowed was some stationary bike riding, but not much. Couldn't believe it, ten years in preparation with no major injuries, except minor knee surgery, and now ready for Boston and hurt.

As a part of trying to recuperate from the foot injury, my doctor had recommended a shoe called Z-CoiL that would save the day. I really didn't think I could finish the race, but since my friend was going, I decided to go, and at worst I would get a better understanding of Boston, do a few miles and drop out, but be better prepared to go back next year.

These shoes saved the day for my heel. Well, at least allowed me to do a walk/run and finish the race. Pretty wild

Didn't make my 4 hours, but made it. Foot hurt, but it was worth it. Without the Z-CoiL shoes I would never have been able to finish. Really excited about how it will be next year when, hopefully, my foot will be well.

My foot is still healing, so whenever I don't wear my Z-CoiL shoes the pain level goes way up. I am so very thankful to Z-CoiL. I plan to continue wearing my Z-CoiL footwear for some of my training runs when my foot is back to normal. With Z-CoiL shoes, I hope to get at least ten more years of running.
