I purchased my first pair of Z-CoiL shoes in March 2010. Before I came into the Z-CoiL store my pain issues covered many areas, including my back, knees, shoulder and neck. I have arthritis throughout my body.

I had extreme pain in my back and knees. My doctor sent me to a surgeon to discuss what could be done about my knees. The surgeon said there was no hope, the only solution was knee replacement, and in the meantime I could have cortisone shots at $300.00 a shot, not covered by health care.

My mother had bought a pair of Z-CoiL shoes and raved about them because she has had two knee replacements and two back operations and walked with a walker. (See Gladys K. testimonial). I didn’t believe that a shoe could make that much difference for her and I said someone was taking her for a ride. Then after months of her nagging me, I came in to try them on. The first time I tried them on I cried as the pain was GONE immediately. I started walking around the store and I just couldn’t believe that I had no pain. I walked down the street and still no pain. Before this, I was in the house all the time in excruciating pain and not able to work because of the pain. I was too embarrassed to tell people that I was on morphine for the pain, so I just stayed in the house as much as possible.

I now own three pairs of Z-CoiL shoes, two pairs of runners and one pair of sandals. These are the first pair of sandals that I’ve been able to wear in over 10 years with comfort and no pain. Since purchasing my shoes, my shoulder hasn’t given me any pain either. I no longer have to take morphine for the pain. I promote Z-Coil footwear as much as I can because I believe in them so much!!

I thank God every day for giving Al Gallegos, who invented these shoes, the knowledge to do so, which has changed my life completely. I am no longer stuck in bed and in the house all the time. I can now go out and walk my dog; I have even walked up to six kilometers in one day with no pain medication!! I wear my Z-CoiL shoes every waking hour and will not wear any other shoes. My husband has even bought me a cell phone, as I am no longer in the house all the time and he never knows where to find me.

I have worn Z-CoiL shoes for years to reduce and eliminate lower back pain. It wasn't until one year ago that I really experienced the benefits of these wonderful shoes.

I was diagnosed with severe spinal cord compression that required cervical spine surgery. The morning after the procedure I had to take my first walk. I was given hospital slippers that were flat and thin, and each step on the hard cold floor was met with a severe muscle spasm in my neck. Right foot, right side of neck pain, left foot, left side of neck pain

When I got back to the room I slipped on my Z-CoiL sandals and took another walk. I expected some relief, but to my amazement and joy, each step was accompanied by NO PAIN. No more need be said. The recovery period has been infinitely more comfortable because of a great product.

I am one very satisfied customer and though there are numerous other shoes out there touting this benefit and that benefit, there is no shoe like the Z-CoiL.

I bought a pair of Z CoiL shoes after having seen the waitresses at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg wearing them 4 years ago. My husband and I had to leave the area before I could check them out at Jigglin George's. I knew that if the waitresses who were wearing them at the time were on their feet all day long, then, as a nurse on her feet 12 hours, I would benefit from them.

I told Frank that I would buy a pair the next time we went to Gatlinburg (albeit it took 3 1/2 years!). One of the doctors at the facility that I worked at asked me if they helped because he had a pair. I had to think long and hard about his question, and yes, they have helped me. I used to buy the ThermoCare heat packs for my back and use them daily, and since wearing these shoes, I have not had to purchase any more heat packs over the last 4 months! These shoes have saved me money in the long run and my lower back doesn't hurt like it did while being on my feet for the long shifts that I have to work.

P.S. My husband tried on a pair while I was having my shoes fitted (although he said he wouldn't wear "those ugly things") and bought a pair and loves them!

P.S.S. I teasingly call my Z-CoiLs my "Tigger shoes" because I never feel my heel on impact!

I have been wearing Z-CoiL shoes for the past three years. I had been experiencing pain with heel spurs and lower back pain. I work at a casino so I am on my feet for more than 8 eights hours a day. Unfortunately, since they are so expensive I can only buy a pair once a year at tax time. I feel a lot of pain when I wear my regular shoes to work. My feet have a burning, hurt feeling in them and my lower back and legs hurt as well. I will be getting me another pair in a couple of weeks. They may be a lot, but they are worth it. I would not trade them for the world.

I have had knee surgery in the past, and in 2007 I had a plate and four screws put in my lower spine (all this for my forty-sixth birthday). Not my idea of a good time! The surgery had to be done but afterwards, I felt my whole life had changed for the worse. I had to change jobs, and to this day, there are things I can't or shouldn't do. I am an active person and do not like to be limited in my adventures. I love to ride my Harley and I was determined to make it to the Sturgis motorcycle rally the year of my back surgery; although some thought it was not a good idea. Well, half way there, I was starting to agree with them. My feet were in such pain I didn't know if I was going to make it to the rally; and if I did, would I be able to make it home Many hours later (with the aid of ice packs) I made it to Sturgis. After hours on my feet I found myself going back to camp early because my back was killing me. One night I stopped for a bite to eat before going back to camp. I noticed a waitress had on some shoes that I had never seen before. Curiosity finally got the best of me and I asked her, “What’s up with those shoes” She told me EVERYTHING she knew about them and how they helped her. She said that there was a store in Spearfish that carried them. After telling her my history, she told me I HAD to go check them out, “You'll be glad you did!” She was right! As soon as I put a pair of Z-CoiL boots on and stood up, I knew I was walking out with them on my feet. I may still have some limitations as to what I can do, but with my Z-CoiL boots I feel I have a new lease on life! I can be on my feet all day without pain in my Z-CoiL’s! If I have to stand in one spot for any length of time, a little side to side motion actually takes any stress away from my lower back. I work on concrete eight hours a day and want to get a pair of steel toed boots for work. I'm very thankful for my Z-CoiL shoes! Nothing else I have tried has even come close to delivering these kinds of results. Some people say, “Where did you get them goofy looking shoes” I just smile and tell them they look great to me, knowing the relief and freedom they give me and I would be happy to tell them all about my shoes if they would like to know! I purchased my first pair of Z-Coil shoes on Thursday, May 13th from Brown Shoes in Freeport, IL. My body is riddled with Arthritis and I have always had problems with my feet. The first thing I noticed was feeling planted, and my body straightening up as though I had a string at the top of my head, with no pain in my feet or legs. I could walk without staggering or losing my balance. And best of all was a good night's sleep with no tossing and turning because of leg pain. Z-CoiL’s are the greatest shoes ever made! They were so helpful at the store that I just ordered another pair.
